0:23:12 Cambios de Frente (changing sides)

0:23:51 Simple cambio de frente.

Vaiven with 90 deg pivot. One slow, then one double time.

0:25:45 More complicated cambio de frente, from Pepito’s grandparents.

Starting from feet together, follower R leader L, 3 steps forward, together, 3 steps back, together (repeat).

0:27:56 Ochos (Eights)

0:28:30 whole sequence, accompanying woman’s travelling back ochos.

0:29:12 Suzuki follows, showing ornament.

0:29:44 Counting men’s part.

Man is double-time. First way, R front step, cross behind, R side step, together (repeat). Then, second way, L front step to outside follow, cross behind, L side step (repeat).

0:31:10 The follower can be led to do the same part as the man.

The first of the 2 cross steps is led by the man pushing with his thigh to assure that the woman will cross. The woman will understand to do the 2nd cross step the same.

0:35:10 La Vibora (The Snake)

Woman walks backwards, two steps. Man does double time tiny front ochos, starting with the L foot.

0:35:57 Explanation.

Here, the man steps with L, changes weight, steps with L, changes weight.

0:37:01 Man and woman both do the snake.

0:37:45 Explanation.

Both do same steps, in mirror image. Large steps: back (leader’s R) - side - forward - together: Forward - together. Small steps, double time: forward (leader’s R) - together.

0:39:22 Jump for the woman.

0:40:17 Explanation.

Walk to cross (5th step of basic), man crosses behind and steps sideways with L. As woman steps forward with R, man steps forward with R (opposite direction, to cause a turn). Woman’s side step with L sacada with man’s L. As weight transfers to L, jump up from L and "saludo" (boleo or amague) L around vertical R leg, boleo with L, landing on R and immediately changing to crossed in front L.

0:41:34 Picoteo (Pecking) with correditos.

Step forward crossing behind, step backward crossing in front.

0:42:46 Explanation.

Typical pattern is woman front-picoteo - back - side - front - picoteo - back. At least when repeated, the partner moving forward nudges with their thigh as the lead: this can be the man or woman, whoever is moving forward.

0:44:15 Demo to music.

0:46:30 Giros (turns).

0:48:10 Explanation.

Man: walks to cross (5th step of basic), crossing behind and opening left. Then does a giro paralleling womans: front, side, back, side, release embrace and turn to L(??) with front, side. Woman: walks to cross, steps forward to giro: front, side, back, side, release embrace and turn to L coming back to embrace with two steps, front, side. In the embrace, front, then ocho to another front, and walk out.

0:49:19 Second turn.

This seems to be the same except the man does not do the turn: the woman puts her hands down to avoid hitting his face.

0:50:45 Third turn.

Start is the same but two turns instead of one, followed by double gancho. Man sacadas womans side step with L. Woman lands on R, man sets up gancho. Womands L ganchos mans R: double time 3 steps and womans R ganchos mans L. Woman steps forward R, pivots and crosses L in front (or does an ocho). Walk out.

0:51:24 Fourth turn.

After first front step of giro, man steps quick-quick-slow-slow three times, then releases woman who turns to left.
