Pre milonga introductory class on walking
Weight in center of foot. Hips over arch. Shoulders over the front of hip bone.
Press with the entire foot on the floor. Do not roll.
Leaders backward: move hips slighty back keeping shoulders forward to vacuum follower. Follows backward: resist slightly which starts to extend free leg, then step.
Pivots and Spirals
Pivots: leader leads at top, response is at bottom
Spirals: leader walks around follow, who spirals and eventually turns
Turns
Leader spirals, causing follow to back-side-forward
Lapiz: leader side step L change feet, pivot follow 1/4 turn for back step, then pivot to enrosque, l in front of right. As follow steps back, side, extend forward and lapis. As follow steps forward, pivot again to touch follows back foot Then pivot r slightly bringing l foot forward for parada As follow steps over, walk around follow in a calesita /planeo.

Leader spiral to left, leading follow in a circular front step L: sacada L

Leader spiral to left, leading follow in a circular side step R: leader circular step R next to follows R, causing a leg wrap and unwind

Leader step around follow L, causing a back boleo. Leader should end this facing the follow.

Leader pivots L and steps front R slightly away from follow, leading a follow sacada L
